Hey JOHN, Max here.
I’m following up with you about the setback that we had this week. Thanks to you, we’ve been able to make up a lot of the lost ground that was weighing my campaign down. I’m proud of this team for stepping up – like you always do.
But I need to be honest with you. As I’ve been doing everything I can to raise what we need to finish this race strong, my team has also had to pick up our door-knocking goals and digital ad frequency. Both of these things take up a good chunk of what my campaign fundraises, which means we need to raise as much as we can before the election.
I’m going to tell you a little bit more about why I need your help raising as much as possible, but if you’re in a rush, will you take a minute to chip in and help my campaign win in a few weeks?
Having as many conversations as possible is key to winning this battleground district and bringing real change to our district. But after talking to thousands of people across NY-11, I can tell you for certain that Nicole Malliotakis is wildly out-of-touch with the needs of Staten Island and South Brooklyn.
People want health care to be accessible and the cost of prescription drugs lowered. They want streets that are free of violence and safe to walk down with their family. And women want their reproductive rights protected by federal law. I’m running because I know I can accomplish all of this.
And if you’re thinking that these are big issue items, you’re right. But I’m determined to do what it takes to get the job done and work across the aisle to improve the lives of working people.
The momentum is on our side, too – a new poll showed that my campaign is now within striking distance of my opponent. We can win on Election Day but it’s going to come down to whether we have the funds to keep up the important work on the ground.
I’m running to flip the only Republican seat in New York City and a new poll shows me closer than ever to beating my opponent, Nicole Malliotakis. This race will be close so I’m asking you to please chip in as much as you can to help fund my campaign.
Thank you,
Max Rose
