Events & Fundraisers

Dear friends of the Fund,

This week we invite you to take a trip through time with us, as we draw inspiration and support for a life in the arts from ages past. Take your pick from a collection of antique toys from days of yore. Or go back even further and see the birth of America with a forgotten Founding Father. Still not enough? Well, we have some 15th century queens willing to entertain and tell you their story.

Whatever you choose, thank you for supporting a life in the arts, and we hope to see you soon (here in the 21st century).

Auction: An “Antique” Toy Story: A Special Event

LiveAuctioneers.com

Abby and Aaron Schroeder traveled the world collecting antique toys, developing such a breadth of items that they contributed many to the founding of the American Museum of Antique Toys in the early 1980s. Upon this museum’s dissolution, numerous toys have found their way to additional museums, while more than 100 lots will be auctioned via Bertoia Auctions to benefit the Entertainment Community Fund. Proceeds for the auction will support the Actors Fund Home, where Aaron resided for five years until his death in 2009. Learn more about how to bid on these rare antique toys to add to or start your own antique toy collection today.
