Republicans in Congress are embracing my opponent -- not despite her bigoted and hateful rhetoric -- but because of it. And if the GOP retakes control of the House of Representatives in November, she will have enormous leverage to accomplish her goals. 

According to an interview she conducted this week with The Associated Press, these are her goals: 

1. Impeach Joe Biden 
2. Impeach Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas 
3. Impeach Merrick Garland. 

These are her words. And we can’t hand over control of the U.S. Congress to a reckless rabble-rouser like Marjorie Taylor Greene.

According to a new report from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Marjorie Taylor Greene is likely to have outsized influence in the next Congress if Republicans take control of the House this fall. 

Here’s why: Greene is a national firebrand with a broad reach on social media and is a top surrogate of Donald Trump. She’s also raked in millions from radical-right groups, special interests, and lobbyists. 

Here’s the problem: Marjorie Taylor Greene is a vile conspiracy theorist with a history of making racist, antisemitic, and hateful remarks. She’s pushed the ‘great replacement’ conspiracy theory and has filed articles of impeachment against Joe Biden and Merrick Garland, among others. 

Here’s the bottom line: We can’t allow Marjorie Taylor Greene to have absolute power in the U.S. Congress. So we need to defeat her this November. We’re supporting Marcus Flowers, the Democratic Army Veteran running against her.

Greene doesn’t deserve to be in Congress -- and it’s disgusting that Republicans like Kevin McCarthy, Steve Scalise, and others are bowing to her demands.
