I’m reaching out to you today to ask you to support Jessica Cisneros’
campaign for Congress in Texas’ 28th Congressional District.

Jessica is challenging a Democratic incumbent who voted with the occupant
of the White House nearly 70% of the time during the last Congress, has an
‘A’ rating from the NRA, and voted twice to fund the border wall, which is
being partly built in his own district.

There are few people I’ve met who are as passionate about serving their
community as Jessica. Born and raised in the border town of Laredo,
Jessica became an immigration attorney to fight for the rights of
migrants.

After seeing too many families torn apart by Trump’s cruel immigration
policies, and learning that her own Democratic Congressman was supporting
those policies in Washington, Jessica decided to run for Congress. She’s
fighting for a brighter future for her neighbors in Texas’ 28th district.

I need partners like Jessica fighting by my side in Congress next year. We
need more fearless women of color in Congress who will fight for
reproductive rights, Medicare for All, The People’s Justice Guarantee, and
the Green New Deal.

Jessica has done the work to win but needs our help to get across the
finish line.

start strong in 2020. There are powerful interests who are going to try to
stop her and our movement, so we need to be prepared to fight back.
