This entire election, Tom Kean Jr.'s handlers have tried to hide him from the public, and this past weekend, at his first public appearance of the campaign, we saw why. He could not answer the most basic questions about his positions or plans – including about a woman's right to choose. But when the press demanded clarification, he finally conceded that he supports a ban on abortion that would override New Jersey's laws.

I can't overstate how much is at stake if extremists like my opponent help the GOP win a Congressional majority in November. With Roe v. Wade overturned, Republicans have promised to pass a nationwide ban on abortion. And Kean Jr. has told us that he would go along.

Freedoms Americans have taken for granted for decades are on the ballot.
