Chavez-DeRemer self-funded her way through a four-way primary, claiming the mantle of Trumpiest Republican in the field, wearing "Let’s Go Brandon" caps, and defending the January 6th insurrectionists.

Bold progressive Democrat Jamie McLeod-Skinner is a Regional Emergency Coordinator, trained attorney and engineer, and a small business owner. She would also make history as the first out LGBTQ member of Congress from the Pacific Northwest. And Jamie will fight for progressive priorities -- including to restore and protect abortion-rights nationwide.

FiveThirtyEight's forecast has this race in the top 10 tightest House races in the country -- meaning Democratic control of Congress runs right through this district.
