Register to vote today to make your voice heard on Nov. 8

On November 8, Virginians will have the opportunity to elect candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives and – in some areas – “down-ballot” offices. Faithful citizenship reminds us to take an active part in public life through our voice and our vote.  

If you will be 18 or older on November 8, we encourage you to register to vote, or update your data. Please see below for important deadlines for registration/updates and to request an absentee ballot.

To VOTE on Tuesday, November 8, 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. (General Election)

Register/Update Address by Monday, Oct. 17, 2022.
 
Can’t make it on Election Day?

Request Absentee Ballot online, by mail, email, or fax by: 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2022.
Request Absentee Ballot by appearing in person at your local registrar’s office by: 5:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022.
In-person early voting at your local registrar’s office began on Friday, Sept. 23, 2022 and ends on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. This includes weekdays during that period and the last two Saturdays (Oct. 29 and Nov. 5).  Be sure to check your local registrar’s website for more details.
