As a fifth generation Montanan and avid outdoorsman, I know the significance of our Montana outdoor way of life.
I recently introduced a bipartisan bill directing President Biden's administration to prioritize completion of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDT) by the trail’s 50th anniversary in 2028.
The Continental Divide Trail provides an unmatched outdoor experience for Montanans and visitors alike which in turn creates economic opportunities in Montana’s rural communities.
My bipartisan bill ensures the trail will continue to provide public access and a continuous route will finally be completed.
As your voice in the United States Senate, I will always work to protect public access to public lands.
