Dear friend,
As we enter a new decade, it is the perfect time to reflect on the Adam Smith Institute’s achievements over the last ten years.
Since 1977, we have been at the centre of policy and debate in the UK. We have created change at all levels. The ASI was instrumental in Thatcher’s programme of privatisation and deregulation, worked closely with New Labour, and continue to make the reasonable case for radical policies.
Through it all, you have been there as our friend and supporter. Whether you’ve come to events, read our research, or have followed us in print and broadcast media — thank you. A special thanks to all of you who have supported us financially, either now or in the past.
Below you’ll find a summary of some of the ASI’s highlights over the last ten years. I hope it brings back some fond memories — it did for us!
Be sure to let us know your favourite moment if we missed it!
So here’s to the last ten years — we think it was a great decade for the ASI.
Please do think of giving to the ASI this holiday season.
We take no taxpayer money and truly rely on donations, both large and small.
