** ON THE NATIONAL FRONT
------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------------------------
Aloha Hawai'i Republicans,

Biden and Democrats' trillions in wasteful spending is punishing families across the mainland as well as right here at home. As the cost of living continues to rise and real wages continue to fall, all Americans are struggling to keep up. Democrats and the current administration are making life harder for us, not better. If we want different results, we need to change the way we vote.

The good news is that House Republicans are leading by setting out a bold agenda with four clear steps to hold Biden and Democrats accountable for two years of failure. This agenda will achieve a Strong Economy, a Safe Nation, a Free America, and an Accountable Government.

Below is a brief update on things happening in our nation through the Republican lens of the RNC and have an impact on Hawaii. It is brought to you by your National Committeewoman and National Committeeman.
------------------------------------------------------------

HOUSE REPUBLICANS' COMMITMENT TO AMERICA
House Republicans have set out a bold agenda with four clear steps to hold Biden and Democrats accountable for two years of failure. This agenda will achieve a Strong Economy, a Safe Nation, a Free America, and an Accountable Government.
* The House Republican Plan for a Strong Economy:
+ Fight inflation and lower the cost of living;
+ Reduce gas prices and make America energy independent;
+ Fix our supply chain and end dependence on China.
* The House Republican Plan for a Safe Nation:
+ Secure the southern border;
+ Reduce crime and stop fentanyl;
+ Defend our national security.
* The House Republican Plan for a Free America:
+ Ensure every American child has the tools to succeed;
+ Empower longer, healthier lives;
+ Confront big tech and advance free speech.
* The House Republican Plan for an Accountable Government:
+ Hold Joe Biden and his administration accountable;
+ Preserve our constitutional freedoms;
+ Ensure fair elections and restore the People’s voice.
* Democrat one-party rule has made life worse for American citizens:
+ Skyrocketing prices, higher taxes, and a broken supply chain;
+ Rampant crime, an open border, and a deadly drug crisis;
+ A government weaponized against its citizens and silencing free speech;
+ Unaccountable elected officials attempting to undermine election laws – if they even show up for work.
* By electing Republicans to majorities in the House and Senate, we will deliver:
+ Lower prices and more money in your pocket;
+ Safer communities, support for police, and an end to the border crisis;
+ Parent involvement in education and school choice;
+ Free, fair, and transparent elections and government oversight.

September Jobs Report and Biden's Failing Economy
* Last Friday’s jobs report is little consolation to Americans struggling to afford gas, groceries, and other basic goods as their paychecks continue to shrink.
+ Inflation ate up any wage gains ([link removed]) in September, meaning workers' paychecks are shrinking.
+ The economy added just 263,000 jobs ([link removed]) , making this the worst jobs report of the year.
* Biden turned a recovery into a recession – the U.S. economy has now shrank for two consecutive quarters ([link removed]) , meeting the definition of a recession that ([link removed]) Democrats ([link removed]) and ([link removed]) Biden’s own economic advisors ([link removed]) have previously touted.
([link removed])
+ Despite this, Biden and Congressional Democrats passed their Bidenflation Scam ([link removed]) designed to raise taxes on families during a recession and hire 87,000 new IRS agents that will go after the middle class.
+ Biden also wants to bailout student debt - a handout to the rich that would cost taxpayers billions ([link removed]) and worsen inflation ([link removed]) .
* Biden’s policies are creating a worker shortage at a time when many Americans are desperate to get back to work.
+ There are 10.1 million job openings ([link removed]) that businesses are struggling to fill even though there are 5.8 million unemployed Americans ([link removed]) trying to find a job.
+ 1.4 million ([link removed]) workers were unable to work in September because their employer was closed or had lost business because of the pandemic.
+ 46% ([link removed]) of small business owners say there are job openings they cannot fill – double the 48-year historical average.
* The American people see just how bad things are and overwhelmingly blame Biden for his poor handling of the economy.
+ Biden inherited a robust recovery and has turned it into a recession.
+ More than half ([link removed]) of voters believe Biden has weakened the economy.
+ Inflation has wiped out wages every month since April 2021 ([link removed]) , right after Biden wasted $1.9 trillion of taxpayer money.
+ U.S. average gas prices sit above $3.89 per gallon ([link removed]) , more than $1.50 higher than when Biden became president.

The bottom line:

Biden is to blame for this disastrous economy. He inherited a robust economy and has turned it into one where inflation has wiped out wage growth, gas prices remain uncomfortably high, and polls show that Americans believe that the country is heading in the wrong direction. In November, the American people will hold Biden and Democrats accountable for their destructive economic agenda – they’ll elect Republicans up and down the ballot who will fight for more jobs, faster economic growth, and higher wages.

Law Enforcement Backs Republican Candidates
* As Democrats push disastrous soft-on-crime policies ([link removed]) , law enforcement officers are overwhelmingly supporting law-and-order Republican candidates.
+ Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker has been endorsed by the National Border Patrol Council ([link removed]) , the Fraternal Order of Police ([link removed]) , the Police Benevolent Association of Georgia ([link removed]) , and over 100 sheriffs ([link removed]) across Georgia.
+ Arizona Senate candidate Blake Masters is endorsed by Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb ([link removed]) , the National Border Patrol Council ([link removed]) , and the Arizona Police Association ([link removed]) .
+ Pennsylvania Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz is endorsed by the Pennsylvania State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police ([link removed]) , the Pennsylvania State Troopers Union ([link removed]) , and the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police ([link removed]) . Meanwhile, 13 Pennsylvania sheriffs ([link removed]) called out his Democrat opponent John Fetterman for his soft-on-crime record.
+ Sen. Ron Johnson ([link removed]) has been endorsed by a bipartisan majority of Wisconsin sheriffs – 51 in total. He has also been endorsed by the Kenosha Professional Police Association Board ([link removed]) , the Milwaukee Police Association ([link removed]) , and the National Border Patrol Council ([link removed]) .
+ Ohio Senate candidate J.D. Vance has received an endorsement from the Ohio Fraternal Order Of Police ([link removed])

* In stark contrast to Republican candidates, Senate Democrat candidates are fighting for criminals to walk free and to defund the police.
+ Wisconsin Democrat Senate candidate Mandela Barnes wants to eliminate cash ([link removed]) bail and release half the state’s inmates ([link removed]) .
+ Pennsylvania Democrat Senate candidate John Fetterman has bragged about putting a record ([link removed]) number of criminals back on the street, on at least 13 occasions ([link removed]) expressed support ([link removed]) for releasing one-third of Pennsylvania's prison population ([link removed]) , and supports ending “ life without parole
([link removed]) ” for many murderers.
+ Nevada Democrat Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto voted “more than 75 times to minimize the sentences of violent criminals ([link removed]) " while on the Nevada Board of Pardons Commissioners.
+ Georgia Democrat Sen. Raphael Warnock, who was once arrested ([link removed]) for obstructing a police investigation into a child abuse case ([link removed]) , says he wants to “reimagine” policing ([link removed]) and supports ending cash bail. ([link removed])

* Americans are paying the price for Democrats' soft-on-crime policies.
+ Crime sprees ([link removed]) , like surging ([link removed]) car thefts ([link removed]) and smash and grab robberies ([link removed]) , are taking over cities, with more and more crimes happening in broad ([link removed]) daylight
([link removed]) .
+ Biden’s open border policies ([link removed]) are responsible for the massive amounts of deadly fentanyl pouring into communities across the country. ([link removed])

Republicans will always fight for safe communities, law and order, and a secure border. In November, Americans will hold Democrats accountable for their unacceptable and reckless policies.

Here at Home

Over these last few months as our candidates have been canvassing in their districts, meeting neighbors and talking with voters, they've been hearing from constituents on the issues that concern them most. Among these are:
* Inflation/High Prices/Cost of Living
* Corruption
* Crime

The high cost of living in Hawai'i has become the norm for local families, thanks to 60 years of one-party rule. And you only need read the local headlines to understand how corrupt our local government has become. As for crime, both chambers of the Hawaii legislature passed a NO CASH BAIL BILL HB 1567 ([link removed]) that would have eliminated the use of monetary bail and required defendants to be released on their own recognizance for certain non-violent offenses. GOV. Ige had the good sense to veto the bill, but the point must be made that our sitting Legislators had no issue putting the safety of our residents at risk over criminals' rights.

Senator Fred Hemmings recently said, "Continuing to vote for Democrats in Hawaii and expecting different results is the definition of insanity."

We are fighting to bring positive and meaningful change to our state through a new crop of candidates, but we need your support to push them over the finish line. You can make a difference by reaching out to your candidate and offering to help make phone calls, knock doors, drop literature and sign-wave.

Please do what you can to Get Out the Vote for Republicans. Hawaii deserves better!
