john,

Control of the House majority is at stake this November, and it will all come down to what happens here in Washington's 8th District.

This will be my toughest fight yet. I'm up against an extreme, anti-choice Republican opponent who we know will support Kevin McCarthy's dangerous agenda in Congress – including banning access to abortion without exceptions, attacking voting rights, undoing prescription drug cost reforms, and impeaching President Biden.

Right now, Republicans are pouring money into this race to prop up my opponent and defeat me. They've already announced they're spending nearly $7 million in our district, and the attack ads won't stop until the last ballot is cast on Election Day.

With election experts calling this race a "toss up," we can't waste a second fighting back. That's why my team and I can't come short of any fundraising goal we set – but we're still coming up short of our weekly goal.

I'm counting on your support to push me over the finish line. Will you chip in $5 or more to help me stay on track for our fundraising goal so we can protect this seat and our Democratic House majority?

Thank you,

Kim
