Hi, John,

We spend a lot of time talking about the commonsense policies that we know work to stop the preventable gun violence that is devastating our communities, from background checks and training requirements, to Extreme Risk Protection Orders and safe storage. We spend less time talking about another essential part of the equation: electing gun responsibility champions. The truth is, without leaders in office who will prioritize–not just vote for–gun violence prevention policies, we can’t get anywhere.

That’s why we’re asking for your help. We need your financial support to be able to execute our GOTV plans for endorsed candidates running for Congress. Can you donate today to fund this fight?

We know that there are probably many other organizations in your inbox right now asking for donations before Election Day too. Here’s why you should support us: We have proven we can win. The Alliance team has run not one, not two, but THREE successful ballot initiatives and helped elect hundreds of gun responsibility champions. We know what it takes to win competitive elections.

We have plans to run a robust campaign on the phones and at the doors in the final weeks before the election. But if we don’t raise $3,000 this week, we’ll have to scale back our plans. The stakes are high. If we want to see any federal action to build on the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act, we have to keep gun responsibility champions in control of Congress.

Please, give what you can today to help us make it to the finish line.

Thank you,
Steph Ervin (she/her)
