Hey John,

I’m back home after today’s debate. Soon, I'll fulfill my most important professional duty: defending democracy and ensuring justice for the American people at tomorrow's committee hearing.

I won’t lie, it was challenging to juggle prep for the debate and this hearing all at once. But both are far too important for me to fall short.

Very simply, my goal is to tell the truth about the danger our democracy is facing, hold those who want to destroy it accountable, and offer leadership on the path forward.

I believe that’s a message that can resonate with folks across Coastal Virginia, but we need to make sure they can hear it from me, and not GOP-funded attack ads.

I’m going to sign off for the evening and get ready for the big day ahead of me, but first, I have a personal request: will you pitch in $5 or $10 to help me make sure every voter can hear my message of honor, truth, and integrity before Election Day?
