On Sara’s fourth day in Congress in 2021, she was in the House chamber as insurrectionists violently attacked the Capitol. Since then, we’ve learned that Donald Trump incited the mob in a coordinated effort to overturn the results of the election and undermine our democracy.
That’s why it’s so shameful that Sara’s opponent is entertaining conspiracy theories about what happened that day. Here’s what he told The San Diego Union-Tribune Editorial Board when asked about how he viewed January 6:

The San Diego Union-Tribune says that Sara’s Republican opponent is “unfit for office,” and we agree. Now, we need to make sure we send a resounding message that his views don’t reflect our district.
