- Summer Lee is running to fill the seat of former Congressman Mike Doyle, a Democrat, who is retiring after 28 years of serving in Congress. Congressman Doyle has vocally expressed the need to elect Democrats up and down the ballot — including in PA-12!
- Summer’s opponent, a GOP backed businessman, is also named Mike Doyle.
- Republican Mike Doyle has intentionally done very little to clarify this for voters, hoping that confusion on the ballot will be his ticket to win this election.
- But make no mistake, Republican Mike Doyle is an anti-abortion, insurrection-aligned extremist Republican.
As we continue to knock on hundreds of doors and make thousands of phone calls, our team has heard a lot of confusion around this issue, John. We have no doubt Summer will win on Election Day, but Republicans are doing everything they can to spread misinformation in PA-12. Voters need to get the correct information so they can make an informed decision in the voting booth.

What is even more concerning, on top of the Mike Doyle confusion, super PACs are set to spend between 8-10 million dollars by the end of this election trying to keep Summer out of Congress.
