[1]NNU - Medicare for All!

A New York Times report from the past weekend makes it clear: Private
health care companies do not care about patients — only profits. They use
elaborate systems to make patients appear as sick as possible, costing us
billions of dollars a year.^1

Medicare for Billions

We’ve been telling you for months about our fight against one of those
health care giants, CVS Health. We’ve put a lot of pressure on CVS in the
past year — organizing together across the country, orchestrating
petitions and panel discussions, Covid-safe in-person actions, and making
hundreds of phone calls to executives.

A few weeks ago, nurses and Medicare for All supporters gathered in Las
Vegas to deliver our 35,000 petition signatures behind our demand that CVS
permanently and publicly cut ties with the anti-Medicare for All corporate
front group: The Partnership for America’s Health Care Future.

CVS responded to our action, but their response was wholly inadequate.
That’s why we’re showing up at CVS stores across the country this Saturday
to not only reach hundreds of their customers but also put pressure on CVS
Health leadership to take a stand.

We need
your help to spread the word about CVS’s shameful stance and show your
support for the volunteers taking action across the country this
weekend. [ [link removed] ]Please watch and share our video from our Las Vegas action to
tell CVS: Stop gambling with patients’ lives!
