Hi, it’s Charles Booker, Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Kentucky against Rand Paul.
I’m running for Senate because Rand Paul has turned his back on the Veterans he purports to care about. One of them is John, a U.S. Marine Veteran, and hero who sacrificed for our country.
John was drafted as a teenager and was stationed in Camp Lejeune, where he was exposed to toxic water contamination. Years later, he’s been diagnosed with Hairy Cell Leukemia.
John shouldn’t have to spend the rest of his life wondering how he’ll afford medical treatment. But Rand Paul turned his back on our Veterans when he opposed the bipartisan PACT Act, which provides health care to Vets like John.
Our Vets deserve a Senator who will fight for them, not turn their back. That’s what I’ll be if I’m elected this November. But I need your help to win. Can you pitch in $20 or more to send me to the U.S. Senate and DEFEAT Rand Paul?
