Hi John, tomorrow marks 100 days out from Election Day, so I've spent the past few days reflecting on Matt Bevin's tenure as governor. Unfortunately, as a former governor and a proud Kentuckian, I can't find much to be proud of in Bevin's record.
His bullying of Kentucky's public servants and his attacks on our health care are tough to watch. I'm also troubled by his complete lack of transparency and accountability and his constant refusal to take responsibility for his actions. Kentuckians deserve better.
But there's a light at the end of this tunnel: tomorrow we'll be 100 days away from electing someone who knows the value of public service and is dedicated to putting Kentuckians first.
That someone is my son, Andy Beshear. As governor, he'll defend health care for working families, support our teachers and public schools, create good jobs, and protect pensions.
Can you donate right now to help Andy finish this campaign strong? The clock is ticking!

We've only got 100 days until Kentucky heads to the polls to decide what kind of governor we want for the next four years.
We can choose a governor who recognizes the value of our public servants and will always build them up, not tear them down. And we can choose a governor who will return accountability and transparency to Frankfort and restore Kentuckians' faith in their government.
It's going to take a team effort to unseat Matt Bevin on November 5th. Will you join me in supporting Andy's campaign for governor? He'll put Kentuckians first -- always.

Thank you and onward to Election Day!
-- Steve Beshear, 61st Governor of Kentucky
