It's been an absolute joy to spend some time with family and friends the last few days. As our holiday celebrations draw to a close, I find myself anxiously awaiting my trip back to D.C. I'm eager to get back to work, to finish what we've started, and frankly - to continue building a path forward to November.
In the shadow of impeachment, it's easy to forget how much we achieved in the last year.
* We've passed the most comprehensive anti-corruption measures in our lifetime, closing ethics loopholes to hold Members of Congress and their teams accountable in ways like never before.
* We've created first-of-their-kind diversity measures to ensure our staffs reflect our country more accurately and opened debates to bring more voices to the table.
* We've passed nearly a dozen bills to expand coverage and improve affordability in our existing health care system and lower costs for prescription drugs.
* We've passed measures to increase the minimum wage and give 33 million workers a raise.
* We've blocked the Trump Administration from pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement.
I could go on, but here's the bottom line: elections matter and our grassroots movement is working. Our campaign is funded by supporters like you - not corporate PACs. As we approach our final end-of-quarter deadline of 2019, stand with me in the fight for the soul of our nation - chip in $3 today.
