Two-Day Access Spokane Job & Resource Fair: October 19-20
Spokane, Wash. ? The?Spokane Workforce Council (SWC) and WorkSource Spokane are excited to announce that the annual Access Spokane Job & Resource Fair?will be?back in person?this October, and will also offer a virtual option.?Everyone in the community is invited to participate. The SWC and WorkSource Spokane have partnered with Spokane County, Washington State Department of Social and Human Services, and Fox 28 to bring this annual event to the community in celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness month in October.
The virtual event will take place on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. ? 1:00 p.m through Premier Virtual, an online job fair platform with custom accessibility features. The in-person event will be held at the Centennial Hotel on Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. ? 1:00 p.m. There is no cost for admission to either version of the event and parking at the Centennial Hotel is free.
WorkSource Spokane is also offering job fair prep sessions to?help attendees?prepare to engage and connect with businesses?on Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. ? 3:00 p.m., at the career center at 130 S Arthur St. No?appointment?is?necessary, and?WorkSource career coaches will be available to work one-on-one with customers.?General topics include r?sum? review, job fair etiquette, and interview?practice.?
