Edwards has always been, and will always be, anti-choice. Not only did he refer to pro-choice advocates in WNC as “ evil, ” he confirmed that he’d vote for a national abortion ban without exceptions for cases of rape, incest, or the mother’s health.

His extremist views don’t reflect Western North Carolina values. As a pro-choice Pastor, Jasmine knows that an abortion ban isn’t what voters want – she’s heard it from folks across the political spectrum and in every corner of the district. But with the flood of outside spending helping Edwards buy NC-11, voters’ opinions are getting drowned out.
