** We’ve Almost Made It!

Dear Friends,

We’re almost there, but we don’t have much time! We’re only 26 days away from the 2022 midterms! That means we are hustling to get our clients registered to vote, distributing election guides, working with county jails to make Vote by Mail in Jail ([link removed]) a reality, and helping as many people as possible to get IDs.

Our 10k ID goal is within reach but we still need your help to get there. So, why are IDs so important? Well, without one, millions of Americans can’t vote, apply for housing, get a job or even visit a food bank. Launa is one of the people that we recently helped.

Launa is a homeless, disabled veteran who had her ID stolen while she was asleep on a sidewalk. Since her bag doubled as a pillow, she didn’t even realize that it had been swiped. Spread The Vote + Project ID was able to order her out-of-state documents and get the ID that she desperately needed.

We’re elated that we could help Launa, but we still have some work to do before we meet our immediate goals. We need to get as many IDs and election guides into hands as possible, and we need your help to make that happen!
