John, I have good news and bad news.

First, the good news:

Recent polling suggests that the GOP’s chances of taking back the House are narrower than ever. The so-called “Red Wave” that Republican pundits predicted would happen in November is losing steam by the day. More and more voters are realizing the terrifying reality of a GOP-dominated Congress.

Now, the bad news…

IF Republicans do prevail in November, it will be by a very slim majority. Kevin McCarthy will get the speaker’s gavel, but he won’t be the “fearless leader” the GOP wants him to be. Instead, McCarthy will be a puppet controlled by the loudest Republicans on the far right of his party. We’re talking about Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and Jim Jordan.

John, we know defeating McCarthy in November will be an uphill battle, but even a slim Republican majority could be disastrous for the well-being of Central Valley families, farmers, and democracy as a whole.

Flipping this district blue is our best chance to protect our democracy from falling into the hands of far-right extremists. Will you chip in $5 to help us reach more undecided voters before Election Day?
