*BANGOR* ? On Thursday, October 13th, the Maine Department of Labor, in partnership with Eastern Maine Community College and Eastern Maine Development Corporation, will host a hiring event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Johnston Gym and Fitness Center located on the Eastern Maine Community College campus, 354 Hogan Rd., in Bangor. Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet employers from retail, construction, healthcare, law enforcement sectors and more. The event is open to all individuals and job seekers interested in learning more about the current full-time and part-time job opportunities available across many sectors. There will also be numerous resource tables on-site to provide information on educational opportunities, veteran supports, employment skills development, and more.
