I’m in the car heading home from this afternoon's debate with my radical GOP opponent, Jen Kiggans.

My goal was to remind voters across Coastal Virginia of the incredibly high stakes of this election – and to make a clear, compelling case for why they should support me this November. I’m proud to say, I think I did just that.

Winning this debate is an important step for my campaign, but we can’t get complacent because this race is going to be extremely close. We still have so much work to do if we’re going to win on Election Day.
