Hi there,

There are 4 million instances of housing discrimination ([link removed] ) in the US every year. This is unacceptable!

We know you agree, and that’s why we ask that you join our #WelcomeMe #FairHousingMatters Selfie Challenge. Together, we can raise awareness, let those who have experienced discrimination know that they do not stand alone, and wipe out housing discrimination once and for all.

The challenge itself is simple! From October 3, 2022, to January 3, 2023, post a photo or video of yourself in front of or inside your home, or anywhere with your house keys, and answer the question, “What does it mean to have a welcoming home free from discrimination?”

To be entered into the challenge sweepstakes, you will need to include both hashtags: #WelcomeME #FairHousingMatters.

Don’t have social media? Enter the challenge by uploading your photo/video with this form ([link removed] ) .

Then help us spread the message across the nation so it sticks, so realtors, lenders, appraisers and landlords get the message, and so we can finally say goodbye to housing discrimination forever!

NCRC will select 10 winners who will receive a variety of prizes, including admission to the 2023 Just Economy Conference ([link removed] ) and a two-night stay at the Washington Hilton!

Thanks for all that you do!
