Our partnership with Chinese superstar Eddie Peng has been building momentum all year long, culminating in a three-part series, “Between the Sea and Shore” on Youku, one of China’s top online video and streaming services.
As well as producing the documentary, WildAid placed campaign materials in areas where sea turtle products are often sold to tourists. A market survey conducted by researchers in Hainan, one of the most popular coastal tourist areas in China, showed a 69-76% reduction in sea turtle products available for sale in the main markets between March and July 2019!
