And we’re ready to mobilize.

John,

There’s one thing that unites Americans — we’re all profoundly concerned about the state of our politics.

Americans are hungry for change, and our country now has an opportunity for a major political reset in the coming year. Issue One is ready to seize our democracy moment and fix our broken politics. Will you join us?

To ensure that big reforms will be possible in 2020 and beyond, we’ve been working to expand the political conversation and build a strong base for sweeping change. In 2019, we:

  • Launched our “Don’t Mess With US” project to prevent foreign interference in our elections

  • Created The Fulcrum, a first-of-its-kind digital news hub specifically for the democracy reform movement

  • Brought leading groups from across the political spectrum together to build the Fix the System coalition to champion game-changing reforms

  • Recruited over 200 former members of Congress, governors, and Cabinet officials to our ReFormers Caucus — the largest group of its kind ever assembled to advocate for political reform

  • Produced hard-hitting reports on issues like foreign interference in our elections and the role of dark money in campaigns

These achievements are leading to something big. We’re building the crosspartisan reform movement needed to usher in a new era of political reform. And we can’t do it without you.

You — the Issue One community — are critical to getting our democracy back on track. This is a historic moment. Help us seize it by donating to Issue One today.

Thank you for being a part of our movement,

Nick Penniman
