Africa

• Pray for ongoing trafficking cases in Ghana, especially for three cases nearing completion. Please pray for progress, for no delays, and for justice to be done. Pray also for continued healing for all the survivors in these cases, and for encouragement for our legal staff.

Latin America

• Praise God for his faithfulness and for an open door to continue our work protecting children from sexual violence in Bolivia. For more than a year we have sought your prayers over getting an important government agreement renewed for our office, and yesterday your prayers were answered! This official agreement will allow IJM to continue partnering with local volunteers, grassroots organizations and key public justice system officials to protect and restore more Bolivian children and their families.

South Asia

• Please pray for a young woman recently rescued from sex trafficking as she begins to heal. She had been sold for sex for several months by a secretive network and was rescued just days after her eighteenth birthday. Police arrested two suspects in this case and are currently finalizing their case documentation. This documentation could have a major impact on the upcoming trial, so please pray specifically that the charges they file would reflect that this victim was a minor when she was first abused, even though she was rescued as an adult.

Southeast Asia

• This week, IJM and our partners in Northern Thailand gathered in Chiang Mai to celebrate what we have accomplished together. The group of government officials, NGO partners and IJM staff celebrated the 101 lives that have been forever changed through our collective efforts to defend and protect children from sexual violence. Join us in praising God for the miracles he has performed in these survivors' lives and in vulnerable communities across Northern Thailand, and pray that God would continue his work of healing and restoration in each of their lives.
