Billionaires buying elections is scary! That’s why, leading up to Halloween, we’re highlighting the vampires, zombies, and Frankensteins of the billionaire-class who are bankrolling far-right candidates to do their political bidding.
First up, meet billionaire Peter Thiel:
Donate today to bring this scary infographic to thousands of people and let voters know that this vampire billionaire wants to suck the life out of democracy.
Thiel was a major Trump donor in 2016 and in the 2022 election cycle has donated more than $30 million to super PACs backing right-wing U.S. Senate candidates JD Vance (OH) and Blake Masters (AZ) who want to keep Thiel’s taxes low while taking away our rights.[1]
Thiel has called women being allowed to vote “unfortunate”[2] and is an investor in a new menstrual tracking app that spews transphobic hate, bashes feminism, and says women shouldn't “exercise like men.”[3]
His software company Palantir has played a significant role in eroding privacy rights.[4]
And, possibly the creepiest of all, Thiel wants to inject himself with the blood of young people to make himself live longer.[5]
