John, we know what’s coming: last-minute changes and dirty tricks designed to suppress voters.
We’re already seeing it happen in states like Texas — where a county commissioner suddenly removed the early voting site from Texas A&M University, forcing thousands of students to figure out transportation off-campus or otherwise face long lines on Election Day. [1]
And unfortunately, that won’t be the only last-minute obstacle voters have to deal with. For at-risk voters, these changes can be devastating — and without help, potentially cause them to leave without casting a ballot
That’s why, with early voting already underway, we’re closely tracking high-risk precincts across the nation. But the sad fact is millions of voters have already been harmed by new restrictive voting laws passed since the 2020 election.
That’s where our volunteers come in. Stationed across the nation at polling places that need it the most, our nonpartisan Election Protection volunteers provide a friendly pro-voter face to help affected citizens cast their ballot.
Right now, we are in the midst of our largest-ever midterm election effort —and with your help, we intend to place thousands of volunteers at polling places we’ve identified as most likely to face suppression tactics and other dirty tricks.
John, if you’re interested in helping to protect democracy, now’s the time to act. Your contribution today will go a long way towards making sure every voter can make their voice heard in this critically important midterm election.
For just $50, you can fully sponsor one nonpartisan Election Protection volunteer – who will help hundreds of voters cast their ballots safely through early voting and Election Day. Can we count on you to take action today?
John, millions of Americans will cast their ballots for the first time — especially after the wave of new registrations driven by the Supreme Court’s decision overturning Roe v. Wade in June.
Our challenge? Ensure these new voters are able to cast their votes freely, fairly, and without obstruction.
Thanks for all you do,
