Hey John – I am going to give it to you straight. At midnight on New Year's Eve, we will close the books on our campaign fundraising for 2019. Shortly after that, I am required to file a financial report with the Federal Election Commission listing how much I've raised from friends and patriots like you. I cannot afford to be outraised by my opponents. Nor can I show any signs of financial weakness because it would encourage powerful liberal special interest groups to double down and spend millions more against me. Can I count on you to help me end 2019 with the resources we need to win in 2020? The Democrats and the radical left are looking for any headline, poll, or tweet to take me down. They've hit new lows with their underhanded tricks to smear my conservative record. It seems like every day we find new evidence of the mainstream media's willingness to mislead voters to help them accomplish their goals. They should be ashamed, but sadly, none of this comes as a surprise. From the very moment President Trump took the oath of office, Democrats have been attacking him both day and night and holding sham hearings because they can't accept the election results from 2016. Heck, they openly admitted they needed to impeach the President or else he would win again in 2020! Just look at what the Democrats want to do if they win: Government-run healthcare. Outlawing private health insurance. Open borders. The Green New Deal. Higher taxes. ...And that's just the beginning! It's bad enough that the Democrats' socialist policies will ruin our economy and cripple our national defense. Even more frightening are the tactics which the radical left is using to impose them on the American people.
