Hello Friend,

I lead the fundraising operations team at the PETA Foundation. I'm writing today
because December is a huge month for us—the funds that we raise between now and December 31 will help
determine how much PETA can accomplish for animals in 2020 and the years to
come.

I'm putting together a list for my team of those who've made a gift this month,
and I noticed that your name isn't on it—in fact, from our records it looks like
you haven't made a donation to PETA before! I'd love for today to be the day you
make your first gift to PETA. I've still got a few hours left to add more names
to my list before the end of the day— can I add yours, too?

2020. Even $3 can make a world of difference to an animal in need!

I run across so many heartbreaking stories of abused, neglected, and unloved
animals during the course of my work: dogs forced to live outside in the
freezing cold, chained up without shelter … mother pigs confined to cramped
crates on massive farms ... monkeys condemned to laboratory cages for nearly
their entire lives before being cut open and killed in cruel and useless
experiments.

But I'm also lucky enough to have a front-row seat to the astonishing impact
that kind people like you can make for animals by pitching in with your first gift:

* Your support means that PETA fieldworkers can provide lonely "outside dogs" with custom-built
doghouses, offering them some protection from the freezing rain and snow of
winter. With your help, PETA has delivered more than 230 doghouses in 2019
alone.

* Your compassion funds the work of PETA investigators who expose the abuse endured by pigs and
other animals on industrial farms—footage that PETA sometimes uses to help
bring legal action when cruelty becomes criminal.

* Your generosity powers effective grassroots campaigns that are stopping hideous experiments like
the forced swim test, in which small animals are placed in inescapable
beakers filled with water and made to swim to keep from drowning. In recent
months, PETA has successfully persuaded massive pharmaceutical companies like
Bayer and Pfizer to commit to banning the test—and next year, we want to see
this test stopped across that entire industry.

It's no exaggeration to say that the list I'll be sending to my team this
evening is one of people who are changing lives and making the world a kinder
place for all living, feeling beings.

It's not too late to get your name on it, too. Make your very first gift to PETA now—even just $3 can help—and do more to make
a difference for animals in 2020. Thanks!
