It’s been just over a year since you elected Antonio to serve as your congressman, and I want to take this time to sincerely thank you for the integral role you played in his campaign from the beginning.
I also want to reflect on the work ahead and what this new year has in store.
Antonio’s next election is less than a year away. For many of us, gearing up for another campaign so close to the previous one can feel like a lot. But when I think about how challenging the times are and what Antonio has been able to do here at home, I remember that in the end, you can’t change the system if you don’t have a seat at the table. 2020 is about making sure we all still have a seat at the table through Antonio’s work.
With that in mind, I’m hoping you can help the campaign start off 2020 strong by making a donation of $5 or more before our end-of-year FEC fundraising deadline on Tuesday.
In the new year, this campaign is going to go into full swing -- we're going to add more staff, open more offices, and recruit more volunteers to spread the word about how my husband is fighting for everyday people in Congress.
It's going to be a lot of work, but traveling across New York's 19th District to meet with voters and listen to their needs makes it all worth it. When I'm out on the campaign trail with Antonio, I look forward to seeing you stand with us. We couldn’t have won in 2018 without you, and you are so important to what we're trying to accomplish together in 2020.
During the holidays, Antonio and I are taking time to reflect on the past year and be grateful to our friends and family who have given us their love and support, and that includes you.
I'll always remember and appreciate what you did to get Antonio elected in 2018, and I look forward to your continued support in the year ahead as we kick off the re-election campaign. I know Antonio does as well.
