John, Bobby Barrera always wanted to be a Marine. But six weeks after he arrived in Vietnam, a traumatic attack made him question everything.

Bobby's armored personnel carrier was struck by a 500-pound bomb rigged as a land mine, and the massive explosion caused the vehicle's fuel to catch fire. Bobby suffered severe burns over 40% of his body and lost his right hand and left arm.
