In the last three years, we have seen an unprecedented assault on public lands, endangered wildlife, and ocean ecosystems.
From handing over public lands to extractive industries, to prioritizing profit over protecting imperiled species — this administration has made its priorities clear. With your support, Earthjustice attorneys have held the administration to account, and will continue to do so.
In the coming year, we are going toe to toe with this administration as it attempts to gut a bedrock environmental law meant to protect the most vulnerable wildlife, such as Yellowstone-region grizzly bears and Mexican gray wolves. We will continue to work on behalf of conservationists and in partnership with tribes to stop the slashing of Utah’s Bears Ears and Grand Staircase–Escalante national monuments by 2 million acres. And we will continue to ensure that oil and gas drilling is prohibited in the U.S. Arctic Ocean.
