The countdown begins: We are less than one month away from our Celebration for the Turkeys event at both our Watkins Glen, New York and Acton, California sanctuaries. We are incredibly excited to be once again hosting this treasured celebration in person for the first time since 2019.
A Farm Sanctuary tradition for more than twenty years, Celebration for the Turkeys is a beloved gathering to honor farm animals, compassion, and each other.
Join us for an autumn afternoon of:
- Watching our turkey residents enjoy a seasonal feast of pumpkin pie, squash, and cranberries during our annual Feeding of the Turkeys Ceremony. You may also be able to feed them!
- Socializing with the cows, pigs, sheep, goats, and other animals who call Farm Sanctuary home during Open Sanctuary Time.
- Connecting with Farm Sanctuary staff, including President and Co-founder Gene Baur and Animal Rescue & Care Senior Director Jessica Due.
