Dear Friends, I hope this week's newsletter finds you and your families well.  Recall that during the Trump administration, the United States became a net exporter of energy for the first time in nearly 75 years. Simply put, we were energy independent and energy prices reflected that reality. Starting on Day 1 of Biden's administration, he has worked to destroy American's energy independence which has caused prices at the pump to hit historic highs. Instead of encouraging energy production here at home, Biden recently traveled to Saudi Arabia to beg OPEC+ to produce more oil. Instead, last Wednesday, OPEC+ announced that they're cutting production of oil by 2 million barrels a day - which will only make America's energy crisis worse. Now, Biden is dumping our strategic petroleum reserve (SPR) to try and control prices, after his negotiations with totalitarian leaders failed to get more oil on the market. Thankfully the push under Trump's administration for American energy independence led to very low prices and allowed the U.S. to fill up the SPR, but Biden is quickly draining our emergency reserve. In short, Americans will continue to pay the price at the pump for Biden's failed policies.
