Young Kim Day of Action October 22nd Our next campaign deployment takes us to CA-40, and will be in support of Congresswoman Young Kim on Saturday October 22nd at 9am. We will start with a kick off rally featuring Kate Sanchez and fellow special guests. We will then head out for a morning canvass and make our case to local voters in the district, and then return for lunch! The walk will be staged from Young Kim's Mission Viejo headquarters, and we will have free lunch and drinks provided by the campaign. Direct voter contact is the tried and true most efficient way to win elections, and this will be one of our most important and impactful efforts this year. We would like to thank everyone who has stepped up to the plate and volunteered so far this year. Your efforts are acknowledged, recognized, and appreciated. This week on Thursday October 13th at 5pm, there will be a Burgers and Ballots fundraising event in San Juan Capistrano in support of Laurie Davies and her re-election to the State Assembly. Enjoy some delicious burgers and dynamic networking with fellow members of the South OC community and go over the many important races and propositions on the ballot! This will be one of the closest Assembly races this fall, so we will encourage you to consider attending in support of one of our most effective advocates in Sacramento! Many of our members are involved with Elite OC, a group of dynamic young professionals with a passion for giving back to our community and supporting worthwhile charitable causes. On Thursday October 20th at 6pm, they will be hosting an open mixer event for all to attend. The event will be at THE LOT Fashion Island in Newport Beach, and the charity partner for this month is For The Children. There will be a Halloween Costume Drive as well, so please consider arriving a new costume to donate.
