Happy Tuesday, Friend!

It's been some time since we last updated you on our progress in the Mayor's Office. It's been a busy year for Mayor Joe, but through it all, he's been hard at work investing in infrastructure, public safety, and neighborhood quality of life in Indianapolis.

Among other things, Mayor Joe has recently...

☑️ Announced the recipients for the second round of funding for the Elevation Grant Program, which will invest $45 million in Indianapolis neighborhoods over the next three years to address root causes of violent crime.

☑️ Enacted a property tax relief measure that will give homeowners in Marion County a boost in response to inflation and skyrocketing property values. The measure will bring relief to nearly 191,500 households representing about 90% of owner-occupied single family homes.

☑️ Broke ground on the new Reverend Charles Williams Park, a $2.25 investment in Indy Parks that will bring Crosstown families a new playground, performance area, and improved public space by next summer.

☑️ Kicked off Domestic Violence Awareness Month by highlighting the City’s investment in domestic violence prevention, which includes a team that connects survivors with resources, law enforcement, and support.

Mayor Joe understands what Indianapolis residents want to see from city government -- a focus on making our city safer, healthier, and more prosperous.

Thank you,
