We just got a chance to book Emily’s amazing new ad during the Mariners playoff game on Thursday! (see Emily’s full email below)

These playoff games will probably be the most widely viewed TV event between now and Election Day, so we have a chance to get in front of many voters we wouldn’t ordinarily be able to talk to. This is an incredible opportunity, and we don't want to let it slip by. 

The thing is, these ads are a little bit more expensive than the other ads we’re running, so we wanted to check with you to see if you could help us fund this opportunity. We’re trying to shift some stuff around, but any help you can give to help us hit the budget would be amazing.  

Can you help us raise an additional $5,000 to ensure we can buy this ad during the Mariners game this week? That's all we need to put this up during Thursday's game, and any amount you can give – whether that's $10, $100, or up to the $1,000 limit – will get us closer.

This ad gives a glimpse of how personal politics are for me. To take care of my sister who was born with complex disabilities, qualifying for Medicaid made all the difference for us. But too many of our families are still struggling – to pay bills, to find a therapist that takes their insurance, to help their kids build their own futures. As your State Senator, I will continue to fight to ensure all of us have the tools we need to thrive.

Campaigns are not just about having the right message, but also about getting that message out into the community. With less than five weeks until the election, I’m doing everything I can to be visible to the people of the 26th district. And our state is the second most expensive media market, meaning that we need a lot of resources to put ads like this one out.
