Happy fall, Adolescent Champions!

In addition to the continued support of Texas school districts and charter
schools, Texas Is Ready is expanding its program offerings to the families
and communities they serve.

Join us to set your schools and programs up for success as you meet the new
standards for sex ed in Texas, and preview "Key
Conversations," an interactive program that supports parents in talking
with their kids about healthy relationships and sexual health.

Lastly, invite your parents, caregivers, and staff to a free webinar
implementation of "Key Conversations."

NEW PARENT RESOURCES

The Texas Is Ready website has been updated with new information for
parents and caretakers. Check out the new resources here [3].

DID YOU HEAR THE NEWS? WE HAVE MERGED!

The Texas Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy (statewide), Ntarupt |
North Texas Alliance to Reduce Unintended Pregnancy in Teens (Dallas),
and Healthy Futures of Texas (San Antonio) have merged to improve the
well-being of young Texans through equitable access to sexual health
education and resources.

The newly formed organization will move forward under the name HEALTHY
FUTURES OF TEXAS to close gaps in statewide sexual health education and
resources affecting young Texans.

We will continue to provide the same local services while supporting a
larger statewide strategy. We believe that the youth of Texas deserve the
resources and agency to realize their full potentials.
