Hey John,
Governor Holcomb has made it his mission to take Indiana to the world and bring the world to Indiana. And just last week, he did it again.
On his 13th international trip as governor and his third visit to both Germany and Switzerland, Gov. Holcomb met with some of Indiana’s largest foreign-owned businesses and advanced partnerships focused on industry growth and innovation.
“Our global partnerships extend far beyond the numbers. Germany and Switzerland in particular, have been long-standing partners and friends of Indiana for many decades. As we face new global events and economic challenges, these international partnerships are more important than ever, and I look forward to working with our German and Swiss friends to advance disruption and innovation in tomorrow’s economy.” — Gov. Holcomb
Europe is one of Indiana’s top trading and foreign investment partners, accounting for nearly half of the 1,050 global businesses operating in Indiana.
And through these investments, which bring high-paying jobs and increased tax revenue for the state and our local governments, we are able to lower taxes and reinvest in our communities.
Here in Indiana, we have a blinking neon Hoosier welcome light on, and Gov. Holcomb is spreading that message everywhere he goes, Building One Indiana for All in the process!
