Dear John,
I’ve been busy, both on the campaign trail and working for you in Congress. Here are some updates on what I’ve been up to lately:
1. I hosted a meet and greet with voters in Thomasville. I appreciated the opportunity to speak with voters, talk about the stakes of the upcoming election, and answer questions.
2. I attended the opening of the USDA’s newest research facility at the U.S. National Poultry Research Center in Athens, Georgia. This new facility will increase our capacity to respond to and research poultry viruses.
3. I supported bipartisan bills to expand veteran benefits, ensure veteran food security, and improve whistleblower protections with the VA. These bills are critical to making good on our promise to support our service members.
John, I’m grateful to be in a position to improve people’s lives, increase opportunity, and better our communities. I promise to continue to fight for you and your families in Congress — but I need your support. If you’re able, please consider making a contribution to my re-election campaign.
Thank you,
Congressman Sanford D. Bishop
