Each year in October, UnKoch My Campus coordinates a National Day of Action that focuses on building public awareness of the impact of the Koch network within institutions of education and our broader democracy. This year we’re coming together to exorcise Koch’s influence from campuses across the country. We’ve seen how the Koch network’s involvement and influence in education has promoted systems of white supremacy while harming those most at risk, particularly Black and brown students. To protect the integrity of higher education and throw a wrench in Koch’s infrastructure of political influence, we must stop the Koch network from leveraging colleges and universities to lend legitimacy to their private interests.

Join us Monday, October 24th at noon ET, for a national call, as we partner with the American Humanist Association, Liberation in a Generation, and Fossil Free Research to organize against those whose expressed intent is to place private interests over the common good. We'll host a panel with folks from AHA and FFR to discuss how billionaire donors are using their donations to institutions of education to further their agendas at the expense of our communities. We'll also discuss strategies and offer suggestions of ways you can make a difference during our Day of Action (Thursday, October 27th). Join us as we fight back!

See you soon,

The Team at UnKoch My Campus

UnKoch My Campus is a project dedicated to disrupting corporate influence on campuses nationwide by equipping campus activists with education, skills, and ecosystems of solidarity. The Koch network is leveraging its donations to colleges and universities to bolster its corporate agenda to halt action on climate change, put hundreds of thousands of people in prison, deny millions of people healthcare, and strip rights and wages from workers globally. We're building a mass movement of young people who are dedicated to disrupting this harm.
