John,
We’ve got a righteous fight on our hands in this year’s midterms:
In Vermont, Becca Balint is running to become the first woman and openly LGBTQ+ person to represent her state in Congress – and I’m proud to endorse her history-making campaign.
We need to roll up our sleeves to ensure we send Becca to Congress. If you can swing it, will you contribute $5 or whatever you can to Becca’s campaign today?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Like me, Becca is a former public school teacher. And during her time as Majority Leader and President Pro Tem of the Vermont State Senate, Becca has meaningfully improved life for working families across Vermont:
She has raised the minimum wage, expanded access to childcare, passed Vermont’s first gun safety laws, increased affordable housing, and secured some of the nation’s strongest protections for reproductive rights. If there was ever a time we needed to bring someone with this kind of track record to Congress, it’s right now.
We make big, structural change by coming together and supporting Democrats up and down the ballot who will fight to put power in the hands of working people — where it belongs. That’s why I’m proud to endorse Becca’s history-making campaign for Congress.
If you can, please make a contribution today to ensure that Becca Balint can join me in Washington, and fight to pass policies that will continue to improve the lives of Vermonters and Americans across the country.
Thanks for being a part of this,
Elizabeth
