For 91 years, Capital Group has been helping people take control of their financial futures. Over this time, they have stayed true to their core beliefs, approach to investing, and commitment to community. Today, they are one of the world's largest investment management organizations. Philanthropy is deeply ingrained in the culture at Capital Group. From 2011 through 2020, Capital Group gave more than $250 million to nonprofit organizations. In fiscal year 2020, Capital Group made 600 associate-driven grants to nonprofits, while 400 associates served on nonprofit boards. One of those organizations is Peace Over Violence. Capital Group has been a longtime funder of POV, funding our population specific programming, especially our Deaf, Disabled, and Elder Services and our Youth Violence Prevention work. We are happy to honor Capital Group this year and recognize their ongoing support of important work happening in our communities.
