I'm entering the last month of this campaign with a heart full of gratitude -- and not just for the striking beauty and fresh, crisp air of fall in Minnesota.

When we began this journey together over five years ago as an underdog in a district that hadn't been represented by a Democrat in 60 years, I knew the path would be difficult -- but I also found joy in the journey. Thanks to allies like you, that joy has sustained me through the many ups and downs we've faced together as a state and nation in these intervening years.

I cannot express how proud I am to represent Minnesota's Third District -- one of the most highly-engaged, well-educated, and civically-minded communities in the entire country.

I'm a lifelong Minnesotan, born and raised in the Twin Cities, but I still discover something new every single day -- mind-blowingly innovative businesses, tucked-away neighborhoods, and incredible people I may never have encountered but for this wonderful job.

Anyone who knows me knows that I did not run for office out of ambition or self-interest; I ran because I felt the call to serve at a difficult time for our country. I feel that call still, which is why I'm seeking reelection this November -- and I plan to stick around as long as I am making a meaningful difference for our community, as well as our nation, in Washington.
