Almost one year ago, I declared my candidacy for San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk because I want to improve and modernize this critical office that so often flies under the radar.
Voting has begun with the Registrar of Voters sending out mail ballots and the ability to vote in person at the Registrar’s office. We should really call this time period “Election Month,” with Tuesday, November 8 as the culmination.

Barbara Bry is the most qualified candidate to modernize and effectively lead the office of San Diego County Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk.
Barbara will streamline access to documents, create more transparency, enforce Property 13 fairly, and ensure that everyone pays their fair share of taxes, which funds education and other critical services.
Barbara’s experience includes 30 years in the technology sector as an executive and entrepreneur, four years on the San Diego City Council where she chaired the Budget Committee, an MBA from Harvard Business School and service on many nonprofit boards including President of the Children’s Museum.
Barbara is the only candidate endorsed by the San Diego County Democratic Party and Planned Parenthood Action Fund of the Pacific Southwest.
Your help is very important because we already know that my opponent and his supporters are putting out misinformation—flyers trying to make him look like he’s a Democrat.
