The nearly $1 million Republicans spent on attack ads against us in September had a major impact on our race. I hate to admit it, but it’s true.

Days after election analysts said Scott Jensen has a “path to win” on November 8, KSTP/SurveyUSA released a poll showing the race tightening fast. Jensen and Birk even outraised us during the last public reporting period. 

Here’s the bottom line: We need to run like the future of Minnesota depends on it over the next four weeks – because it does.

Every week our campaign pays for positive TV ads that talk about Lt. Governor Flanagan and my vision for One Minnesota. We’re holding the line with our positive message, but it’s clear we need to ramp up our spending before Republicans successfully define the race with their lies and dishonest attacks.
